Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player within his part of the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) received an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. It peaked at number eight at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina in the following year. He appeared later in 2021 on a duet TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are both musicians. In interviews, he referred to his participation in music as compulsory. As a child he learned to play saxophone guitar as well as piano and ukulele. The initial goal was to be a vet, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn to sing with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he found his talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
